I was out in Providence last week, for the launch party of the Select Series “RISD Collection.” I had the privilage of having breakfast with John Maeda, where we talked about multi-disciplinary lives, and rainbow children.

I swung by the RISD museum for a chance to check out the Dale Chihuly exhibit. Living in Toledo Ohio (aka The Glass City) im surrounded by amazing glass art, and it was a great chance to see some real beauties up close.

after the museum I headed over to Taqueria Pacifica for some amazing Veggie Tacos. I stopped by Taqueria Pacifica because it is right next to AS220.

At AS220 there was a group show up, which included some pieces by Mickey Colette.

it started raining, so I wasnt able to make it to the Dirt Palace to check out Panayiotis‘ window display, but I have pictures so I can pretend I was there.

The opening party on the RISD campus was a blast. I met a ton of great students, as well as friendly faculty. I met a student named Korakrit Arunanondchai who has a pretty rad clothing line. I look forward to seeing where his career takes him.

I wanted to thank RISD for being such great hosts for me and Select! I look forward to coming back.
