This Was The Place

This Must Be The Place” opened this past weekend in Culver City at the Scion Space gallery. All artists were in town for a week installing their work, and it was truly a blast and honor to spend so much time with such incredible talents.

From left to right; Maxwell Loren Holyoke-Hirsch, Gluekit, Joel Speasmaker, Jemma Hostetler, Matt Curry, Me, Damien Correll and Dan Funderburgh. Not pictured but in attendance; Skullphone.

The show was packed, and everyone had a blast. The concept of a limited color palette themed group show is a new one, and was given a warm reception by everyone in attendance.

Keep an eye on the next issue of Faesthetic (#12) for full coverage of the event and all of the artists involved. Also, starting today, the next 1,000 copies of Faesthetic sold will come with a giant show poster from “This Must Be The Place” included free with each order.

Thanks a million to SCION for having us out. A special thanks also goes out to our awesome sponsors; Threadless and Flavor Paper.
